Inverted Bell Curve!

We learnt about normal distribution during the first term and then saw the bell-shaped curve without realising that this curve will be most sought-after, talked-after shape on the campus in days to come. ISB grading system depends on the shape of this bell-curve. You get a grade in any subject based on your position on this curve. If you are fortunate to have your grades to be on the right-hand-side of the curve, enjoy and relax! If it goes towards left, start wondering how people make it to Dean List (the coveted top 10% of class in ISB).

I never thought that I can create my own bell shaped upside down. Yes, I did it! In the first four terms, I have inverted the bell curve and now looking for to make it sine-curve.

Double Shocker!

Here comes the fourth shocker!

Yes, I am talking about the fourth term at ISB. After tons of assignments and trauma of End Term Exams, we are in a cool term (at least I felt so initially!). Only 2 assignments, not much of CP and probably not much of pre-reads! Coolest by any standard.

But my joy was shortlived. Aafter going throgh the first sessions, I found three out of four courses based on fattas and unfortunately I lack this wonderful quality of fattebaji. I know for sure that I will be screwed up in these papers but I am also determined to give them my best shot and learn some fattebaji during the course.

As if this was not enough, I also got my 3rd term grades which was another shocker for me! After first term, I hoped to make my grade-curve exponential. And yes I am succesfull also but the only problem is with the direction of the curve which is growing exponentially downward!

Now, I am resolved to optimise my LEARNING at ISB and forget about grades. I have heard that once you start ignoring grades, it starts chasing you! Lets hope for better and move forward!
